Grand Rapids, MI - September 2, 2009

On this day, we visited two places in Grand Rapids, MI. First was the Grand Rapids Children's Museum. Tyler is just about to the age where he'll no longer be entertained with this stuff. It's primarily geared towards preschool and kindergarten aged kids, but he had been asking to go again for quite a while. So I figured we might as well go, while he still enjoys it.

Working in the grocery store. He spent about a half hour organizing the grocery shelves (which should surprise no one)!

Working in the cafe, "crying" over his onion:

Next, on to the bubble area:
and............POP!

Trying to do the body bubble:
City bus we saw out the window. Of course, I had to take a picture for Tyler:

On to the bank next:

Working at the post office:

Time to deliver the mail:

After leaving the children's museum, we went to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum. I figured Tyler would love this because he's so into presidents and history. Yup, he did indeed love this museum.

Outside the entrance:

Oval Office:

I think this helicopter was in a section about the Vietnam War:

White House Cabinet Room:

A section of the Berlin wall:
